| Lodging: Terms and Conditions
Confirmation of booking
In order to make a reservation a deposit of 10% of the total
amount of the booking is required. There is also a €12.50 reservation
fee as well as a written confirmation of your booking request. The
balance is due to the property owner upon arrival.
We can accept the following methods of payment:
· Credit card: Master Card or Visa
· Cheque: Bankers Draft: drawn on a Dutch bank.
· Bank Transfer: Bank details are available on request. If
you intend to make payment by bank transfer, please ensure that
the monies reach our account net of all bank charges. Please ask
the bank to show your name and invoice number clearly on the transfer.
A copy of the transfer should also be sent to us by fax.
Amendments
Amendment charge of €30.00 will apply to any changes made once
a reservation of the lodging has been made. Amendments made less
than fourteen working days prior to arrival will be treated as a
cancellation unless the duration of stay is extended.
Cancellations
Should it be necessary to cancel your reservation, we will refund
the deposit less a €50.00 administration charge. This is providing
that notification has been received by us in writing more than fourteen
working days prior to the arrival date and acknowledged.
· Cancellation less than seven working days prior to arrival:
Should insufficient notice of cancellation be given, a 50% service
charge will apply. For no-shows, the remaining amount of the booking
will be charged to your credit card.
Security Deposit
Some property owners may require a €100.00 cash deposit or
a credit card in-print on the arrival date. This is to cover the
cost of any potential breakages, damages or extra charges.
In some accommodations, the access door(s) are fitted with system
locks. Reproducing the keys for these locks is painstaking and expensive
and if lost you will be charged.
All check-ins after 22:00 hours have a 20 euro charge.
All extra charges must be paid in full prior to departure, at that
time your deposit will be returned.
Liability
Amsterdam Room Service acts solely as an agent and not as a principal
for the apartments. We cannot be held liable or accept responsibility
for any dissatisfaction you may have with your accomadation. We
reserve the right to amend prices or to change accommodation without
notice due to circumstances beyond our control.
You are deemed to have read and accepted the terms of business
by making a reservation with us.
How to make a reservation:
Find the location of the accommodation you like on our on-line
catalogue.
Fill out a request form and mail it to us - free of obligation.
Go to the "request form" button on the page where you
located the accommodation you like .
(Each accommodation has its own page).
Within 24 hours you will receive an e-mail or phone call with information
about the availability of the accommodation - also free of obligation.
As soon as you have made the decision on the location you would
like us to reserve for you, we will need your down payment.
To conclude the reservation we need to know the time of your arrival,
so we can inform the host.
The confirmation form with the information about the location and
its surroundings (public transportation, etc) will be sent to you
by email or fax. Included will be the balance you must pay directly
to the host the moment you arrive.
The down payment may be made with VISA, EUROCARD, or MASTERCARD.
Once you have made your reservation:
Your reservation form contains your time of arrival at the location
address you have agreed upon with Amsterdam Room Service when the
reservation was booked.
The host will be expecting you to arrive at that time.
If any changes are made concerning the time of arrival, please contact
Amsterdam Room Service office or the host before hand.
Under the title "payment host" you will find the amount
to be paid to the host in euros upon arrival.
All accommodations offered by Amsterdam Room Service, whether it's
a house, studio or a room in a private home, are all privately owned.
Therefore, we kindly ask you to respect the hospitality and take
any house rules into consideration.
All accommodation includes linen and towels. Accommodation with
a kitchen will also include kitchen linen.
